Inner Mongolia Normal University
Lingua-Cultural Program (Summer Camp)

The purposes of this program include:
Providing international students an in-depth understanding of Chinese culture and an opportunity to experience that culture by living with Chinese students;
Giving Chinese students an in-depth understanding of foreign culture and a total immersion in hearing, comprehending and speaking English;
Giving to both Chinese and international students an introduction to cross-cultural dynamics to help them acquire skills for cross-cultural understanding, form in-depth friendships, and promote mutual respect, understanding, and harmony between our nations.
Both the classroom aspects of the program and the personal interaction that occurs by living and eating together; as well as the exposure to the cultural milieu of the city and surrounding countryside will be designed to foster strong bonds between both groups of students. These ties will help the participants to have experiential knowledge of each other and will help to create commitments to harmonious cooperation between our two nations.
During the period of approximately 3-4weeks, IMNU will receive a delegation of at least 15 international students and 2 staff. IMNU will organize a group of the same number of students along with a director and on-site assistant(s).
